CLEAR had some great recent press on National Meth Awareness Day on 11/30/2011. Thanks to ALL the volunteers who were with us!ttp://www.reporterherald.com/news/loveland-local-news/ci_19445661?IADID. Hope to have the KCOL 600 interview to post in the near future too!
CLEAR has had an awesome, successful series of school presentations this first semester of 2011 to Conrad Ball Middle School, Walt Clark Middle School and Lucielle Erwin Middle School. CLEAR volunteers presented to almost a thousand young people so far this semester, and provided them with materials to take home along with the ever popular Not Even Once slogan wrist bands and temporary tattoos.
Now more about us...Thank you for visiting, and your interest in C.L.E.A.R., the Coalition of Loveland for Education, Awareness and Resources in the fight against methamphetamine (Meth).CLEAR is: A coalition of individuals, organizations and partnerships created to inform all citizens in Loveland about the devastating impact meth has on not only the user, but our families, the community and society as a whole. Our purpose is three-fold:
- Education - On what meth is and its debilitating affect;
- Awareness - That meth impacts not only the user and his/her immediate family but impacts everyone in the Loveland community; and
- Resource - A central crearing house of information on meth education, awareness, intervention and rehabilitation services available in the Loveland community and Larimer County.
We are a grassroots, non-profit organization. We are a Loveland grown, all volunteer organization. CLEAR is not affiliated with any national organization or government entity.
Focused first and foremost in spreading the word to everyone in the Loveland community about meth. This is done through face-to face presentations as well as booths at all of Loveland's public festivals.
